As Shakespeare
said… “All the world’s a stage…”
especially in the
“world” of real estate!
Annette,
I just wanted to take the time to send you a note
and say thank you for your fantastic service.
Before you called me I had a wonderful listing with
many amazing features that everyone loved, but
without furniture and decorations I just wasn’t
getting any offers. After I talked with my clients
and they agreed with me to let you furnish and stage
the house, we immediately got a contract on the
first showing!! I was ecstatic! I will continue to
use your services in the future; I am a true
believer in what your expertise can do to help in
selling a house.

Enter
stage right…right
here in the Lowcountry that is!! Transitions
Interiors is offering complete staging services!!
And the timing is perfect! Resales are having a
tough time competing with new construction. These
homes need all the competitive edge they can get!
What if all your listings looked like model homes?
Do you think you would have an easier time selling
them? Do you think they might command higher sales
prices?

Statistics show this
to be true. According to an article in the
Denver Post in February of 2004, the National
Association of Realtors findings showed that staged
houses sell 50% faster than non-staged
houses!
The home building
industry is acutely aware of this!
If staging wasn’t so successful builders wouldn’t be
spending thousands of dollars in order to appeal to
the emotions of every buyer that walks through their
models! Why shouldn’t resale homes have that
same advantage?! In April of 2003, the Wall
Street Journal reported that “staging speeds
up sales in a sluggish market and can bump up prices
from two percent to ten percent in a moderate
market…” WOW!

CRITICAL ISSUE! –
THOSE FIRST FEW WEEKS! I know I am
preaching to the choir here! This is the time
period the home will get the most Buyer traffic.
Unfortunately Sellers don’t always seem to grasp
this important aspect of marketing their home. They
can be reluctant to pay for professional staging at
the beginning of the listing period. They want to
“wait and see”. Well what they are “seeing” are all
those potential Buyers pass them by for another home
that has “the look & feel” the Buyers are searching
for!

the Seller’s existing furnishings to stage the
